Sorry for Yesterday
I must apologize for missing yesterday’s post. I very simply got distracted! Someone reminded me of the Baen Free Library, so I spent some time downloading the Microsoft e-book reader and a couple of books I can’t find in hardcopy (at least not locally). Something there reminded me of Esperanto, so I then went looking for some E-o downloads (need to find something simple; it’s been several months since I’ve done anything on it, and a reference somewhere else sent me to Project Gutenberg, where a reader can spend literally hours drooling and downloading non-copyrighted (and some copyrighted, from generous authors) material. Which reminds me, I want to see if they have Moby Dick available …
And I’m not even all that fond of e-books! I much prefer the paper version, for a number of reasons, but when that’s not available, e-books are just spiffy!
Can’t promise I won’t get distracted again in the future, since the ‘Net is a humongous time sink, but I will try to do better despite that.
