Mars Getting Close

A friend of mine forwarded the following e-mail to me, and I’m passing it along in case any of you are interested.

FYI, don’t miss out the greatest opportunity.

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August.It will
look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. This will cultimate on
Aug. 27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of earth. Be sure to watch
the sky on Aug. 27 12:30 am. It will look like the earth has 2 moons.
The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Outstanding Service!

Much to my surprise — I hadn’t ordered from them in several years, since before they had a website — I got the ball winder I ordered from Woodland Woolworks on Saturday in today’s mail.  Having dealt with them before (that’s where I got my spinning wheel, wool combs, lots of spinnables, and assorted other accessories), I did expect decent service, but had no expectation of it arriving before next Monday, at the earliest.  I am a happy camper!

Oh, and it works just great, too — much neater than I can do by hand, and much, much faster!
