Worried about Sable
I’m really worried about our old dog, Sable. He’s over 14 (not sure by how much), and his health has been going downhill for some time. Well, yesterday evening, he quit eating, and hasn’t been willing to even try a treat (cheese, meat, dog biscuit) all day. He’s been outside to drain a couple of times, but otherwise, he’s been laying near either me, if Mr. E was upstairs or outside, or with him in the living room.
He’s been feverish yesterday and today, until Mr. E turned the a/c on for him, but he just decided he wanted out, then got a drink of water. I’m hoping it was something he ate, maybe a cricket or mouse, but even if he makes it through this episode, we can’t count on him being with us much longer.
